Adele stopped her tribute to George Michael part way through for a do over, but would go on to top all winners with five awards, including Record Of The Year for "Hello" and Album Of The Year for 25.

David Bowie, who died just days before releasing his albumBlackstar on Jan. 8, 2016, won four GRAMMYs, including Best Alternative Music Album. Greg Kurstin, Adele's producer and songwriting partner, also won four, including Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical.

Chance The Rapper earned three GRAMMYs, including Best New Artist. And Tom Elmhirst, an engineer/mixer on Adele's record, also won three.

In winning Album Of The Year, Adele became the second solo female act to win the category twice, following Taylor Swift's second win last year.

In addition to exciting solo turns by Adele ("Hello"), a visibly pregnant Beyoncé (an empowerment medley of "Love Drought" and "Sandcastles"), and Ed Sheeran ("Shape Of You"), the telecast provided a wide variety of performances and special moments.

MTV-award winning Kenyan songbird Habida Moloney has released her new single “SWEET LOVE”.

A solid entrant back into the music scene, the song is Habida’s ode to her family, Kenya, and the music industry. It touches on all the little and big things that make her love Kenya so passionately.

In “SWEET LOVE”, Habida features Ghanaian crooner JTown, who is celebrated for his genuine talent and having some of Ghana’s best rhymes. The jazzy R&B song was engineered by UK music geniuses and co-produced by the acclaimed UK-based African producer Silvastone.

Fresh from welcoming a new baby, touring and traveling in the past several months, Habida’s latest single is also a special Valentine’s Day dedication to her fans and marks her comeback.

“This song is a different sound from the usual Habida sound because I have grown as a woman, wife and mother,” Habida explains. “I wrote “SWEET LOVE” while I was homesick and missing all the little things that make Kenya unique like Swahili Food.”

Stella Mwangi’s single “WORK” off her new EP has been named the official theme song for Reebok Classics Free Your Style 2017 campaign.

The commercial features American singer, actress and dancer Teyana Taylor as the new face of Reebok Classic. In the video commercial Teyana is dancing to Stella Mwangi’s “WORK” – just like in her performance in Kanye West’s “Fade” video.

Recently STL’s song ‘Set It Off ‘ was featured in a top American television series.BET Networks has confirmed that STL’s single –Set It Off-from her Big Girl EP will feature as a soundtrack on the third episode of BET Africa’s show, Being Mary Jane Season 4 which premiered on 24th January,2017.

A long-awaited biopic on slain rap legend Tupac Shakur is set for release in mid-2017, the film production company said Tuesday.

“All Eyez On Me,” named after the title of one of Tupac’s albums, will come out in US theaters on June 16, which would have been the rapper’s 46th birthday, Summit Entertainment said.

The movie project was announced nearly six years ago with previous participants to include John Singleton, a director closely linked with hip-hop culture whose previous films included 1993’s “Poetic Justice,” a drama starring Tupac and Janet Jackson.

But the film underwent a series of personnel changes and missed a goal of release in time for the 20th anniversary of Tupac’s still murky 1996 killing in Las Vegas.

“All Eyez on Me” was ultimately led by veteran music video director Benny Boom. Tupac will be played by little-known actor Demetrius Shipp, Jr., whose father was a producer for Tupac.

Victoria Beckham has reportedly blocked her Spice Girls bandmates – Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner – from going on a potential reunion tour by banning them from performing their old songs.

The 42-year-old fashion designer has reportedly called on her lawyers to block her bandmates – Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner – from performing the group’s classic tracks.

A source said: “The girls are devastated. It is an extremely sad way for things to end … Victoria was a huge part of their lives and now she is using lawyers to block their comeback.

“Victoria is proud of her Spice Girls history but this suggests she wants to cut all links with the group which transformed her life. She is resorting to aggressive legal letters and it is an extremely sad way for things to end after all they have been through together.”

And Victoria – who has sons Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 11, and daughter Harper, 5, with her husband David Beckham – was said to be “concerned” that the group’s legacy could be “damaged” by any new music.
