Beef arose between the two singers before they could release the collabo which was to be named ‘Chuchuma’. In the process, Rayvanny uploaded his version of ‘Chuchuma’ on his social media handles and promised his fans that he was set to give them a new song, solo project, a move that angered Willy Paul, who then accused the ‘Tetema’ hitmaker of stealing his ideas.

Former church girl Larissa de Macedo Machado, known professionally as Anitta has joined forces with the multi-award-winning Black Eyed Peas.

The 4-minute track ‘Explosion’ is colorful and full of rhythm. For the lovers of the iconic group which released its first album in 1998; it a celebration of 20 years of music. KHALIGRAPH JONES RELEASES KHALI CARTEL 3

KhaliCartel3The long-awaited Khali Cartel 3 by top Kenyan rap star Khaligraph Jones dropped yesterday afternoon (26.09.19).

To say Khali Cartel is good is an understatement as this new cypher is off the charts. The artists’ selection cuts across little known rappers, fast-rising rappers and seasoned rappers. The court concept was well thought out with Khaligraph playing prosecutor, his brother as the judge and the artists as witnesses. The lyrics are hard-hitting and live up to Khaligraph’s OG status.

First up on the stand is fast rising rapper Bey T who is popular for hits like Wololo and Facetime. The lass inarguably the best on the cypher and has the longest slot on the project. Bey T is the truth as she comes through with some killer bars and flow. She showcases her lyrical prowess as she tackles the #PlayKeMusic movement, her come up and intention to make it to the top as well as takes shots at Tanasha Donna whom she beefed with earlier this year.

Rekles from the Gengetone group Ethic is a favourite of many and as much as he fumbled in the beginning he caught on to deliver one of his best raps yet. His verse on Khali Cartel 3 helps him assert himself as a rapper to look out for in Kenya’s ever-growing music scene.

The most popular Nigerian songstresses who have amassed influence worldwide may never collaborate because of the “troubles” from their fans.

In an interview with a popular TV station, Alade said a collaboration might not attract positive reactions from the public, reported Daily Post Nigeria.

“All my life when have been choosing collaborations, it is not based on how I feel. It’s unfortunate that with the feelings and troubles that people keep stirring in our ways, it probably will never allow us to ever have a collaboration. Because you’re not sure the outcome would even be positive or be overrun by negative things and all the fights.

“When we do music, we do it so people can be happy, so when we do a song together, what are we fueling? What are we encouraging? That’s the most important question when I do collaborations, there is an aim. I think what would be would be,” Alade said.
