Kenya’s most sought after mix master Joseph Mwenda alias Dj Joe Mfalme has scooped yet another continental music award nomination after the widely recognized AFRIMMA (Africa Music Magazine Awards) and AEA – USA (Africa Entertainment Awards)
The radio and TV deejay has been nominated for this year’s HAPA (Humanitarian African Prestigious Awards) Music awards, in the best African disc jockey category.
He will be battling it out with some of Africa’s finest mix masters which include; DJ Black Coffee | South Africa, DJ Spinall | Nigeria, Deejay Evra | DRC, DJ Maphorisa | South Africa, DJ D-Ommy | Tanzania, DJ Paulo Alves | Angola, DJ Nyce | Ghana, DJ Merco | France, DJ Exclusive | Nigeria.
Dj Joe Mfalme is honored to be representing Kenya in the awards and is grateful to the organizers who have recognized his craft as well as dedication in connecting people through music.
The HAPA Music Awards is a multi-cultural award with the sole purpose of honoring dignitaries, humanitarian acts, presidents, musicians, leaders, entrepreneurs and creative spirit of ordinary people who have captured audiences for generations and challenged our understanding through their arts and works.
Their mission is to build the bridge between the African cultures and the world for the kind of recognize outstanding African artists that we may not be privy to know in order continents.
The awards will be held on November 18th in Downtown Los Angeles, California – USA with the theme of Africa Unite.
