American rappers Armando Christian Perez popularly known as Pitbull or Mr. Worldwide and American girl group Fifth Harmony unite.
During the Latin American Music Awards late last month, Pitbull and Fifth Harmony debuted their Spanglish collaboration, “Por Favor,” (which means please in English) blends genres and languages.
The pop-leaning single kicks off with Pitbull’s trademark growl. “I already see mami needed TLC,” he raps. “I ain’t too proud to beg just like TLC.”
Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Normani Kordei follow suit, singing infectious melodies in both Spanish and English throughout the bounce-driven production.
Latin music has experienced a rise in popularity this year with songs like Luis Fonsi's 'Despacito" (featuring Daddy Yankee) and J Balvin and Willy William's 'Mi Gente" (with Beyoncé).
The new Fifth Harmony track does not disappoint. Pitbull's fiery delivery blends nicely with Fifth Harmony's soaring, instantly singable melodies.
Pitbull is the latest rapper to join forces with Fifth Harmony, following French Montana, who recently linked up with the quartet for “He Like That (Remix).”
