Kenya’s hit-makers Timmy Tdat and Arrow Bwoy teamed up the first time to deliver their brand new hot sizzling single dubbed “Mary Jane”.
The two chart-topping Kenyan artists have been flying high for months now with their solo projects, with Arrow Bwoy, in particular, enjoying a meteoric rise to the top courtesy of hits such as “Digi Digi”, “Dodo”, and “Shikisha”.
It, therefore, comes as no surprise that their musical paths have met as they continue to dominate the club scene with their commercial hits.
Their new track is aptly titled “Mary Jane”, produced by hit-maker extraordinaire Magix Enga who seems to have that Midas touch.
Timmy T dat who is also a radio presenter at a new Kenyan radio station said,“This is the first time I am working with Arrow Bwoy and it was a great experience. He is a talented artiste and I would like to work with him again. ‘Mary Jane’ is a song about drugs and the youth. How do we get to choose sobriety rather than indulge in drugs that will throw them off course.”
“Mary Jane’ is a song that urges young people off drugs. Working with Timmy Tdat was an honor. He is a very talented artiste and I look forward to working with him again.” Arrow Bwoy said about working with Timmy Tdat for the very first time.
The track’s video is directed by Award-winning film director Jordan Hoechlin, who has previously worked with the likes of Redsan, Shaggy, Tarrus Riley, Tyga, Morgan Heritage and others.
