The 2020 Grammy awards were held on Sunday 26.01.2020 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, USA. The 62nd awards ceremony was hosted by singer Alicia Keys for the second time running and awarded the best of best in the world of music.
This Grammy awards ceremony was a bittersweet one, fallen stars Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle were remembered and there were some amazing wins that night. The awards were also said to have been lacking in diversity and that the voting system was flawed.

Although the Grammys are typically a vibrant celebration of the most talented artists in the industry, this year’s show took on a more sombre tone as musicians honoured NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna aka Gigi died Sunday in a helicopter crash.
