After a tease that got fans talking, singers Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes released their anticipated collaboration titled ‘Señorita.’
With sensual lyrics and a Latin sound, the song bemoans that while each should leave the relationship, they keep coming back to one another.
It is the first time the two have collaborated since their 2015 song “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
Both artists hinted at the single with a steamy teaser video the day before its release Friday (21.06.19) at midnight. Senorita means miss in Spanish.
The video, which premiered with the single, features Cabello as a diner waitress and Mendes as a leather-jacketed James Dean-type. The two characters in the video whirl through a romance filled with motorcycle rides and late-night dancing.
The 20-year-old Canadian singer Mendes is currently on his self-titled tour, while the Cuban-American ‘Havana’ hitmaker Cabello hinted in January 2019 that she is working on a new album.
